Dr. Taibi Kahler is a clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, transactional analyst, consultant, and writer. He was born in 1943. He graduated in Clinical Psychology at Purdue University in America. At the beginning of his career, he worked as a professor at Purdue University. He had worked with therapists for many years, teaching them how to communicate effectively.

As one of the greatest experts in the transactional analysis, he was appointed the director of the Institute of Transactional Analysis in Southern California from 1975 to 1976. Dr. Kahler received the 1977 Eric Berne Memorial Scientific Award from the International Transactional Analysis Association for his discovery of personality profile described in PCM.

His work has been the subject of numerous scientific articles, books, conference presentations, and academic research. PCM has been the subject of teaching and research at 35 universities and 15 doctoral dissertations have been written on Dr. Kahler’s personality models.
